Hasti Vahidi

Hasti is a lawyer at Bridgehouse Law’s Vancouver office. Her practice focuses on family law with a specialization in litigation. Hasti has appeared before various courts in British Columbia and has experience negotiating out-of-court settlements by engaging in alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration.

While she uses every effort to encourage and achieve negotiated settlement as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible, Hasti appreciates that matrimonial disputes are often fraught with acrimony and do not always lend themselves to out-of-court resolution. In adversarial proceedings, Hasti employs creative, tailor-made legal strategies to effectively advocate on behalf of her clients and obtain every legal remedy available by law.

In addition to her litigation practice, Hasti has experience in assessing potential risks arising from spousal relationships and drafting sophisticated domestic contracts to protect her clients’ property interests and preserve generational family wealth in consideration of estate-planning objectives. Her extensive experience in this area includes drafting cohabitation agreements, pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements, marriage agreements and property agreements.
